Report a DroidLink problem with useful diagnostic information

Read errors yourself and give the developer enough context to investigate.

See the failure, do not guess it

A toast that says something failed rarely explains the session. Diagnostics shows the error so you can share it instead of reconstructing from memory.

It does not stop every failure. It makes the ones that happen easier to investigate.

Start from the task, then the error

Say what you were doing: starting a wireless mirror, opening a specific shopping app in tablet layout, or transferring a folder. Add what you expected, what happened, and whether you can reproduce it.

Example: the mirror drops only after switching from USB to Wi-Fi on a Pixel, with the Diagnostics line attached. That beats "mirroring is broken."

Share only what helps

Strip private clipboard contents and unrelated photos from screenshots before you send them.

There is no promised instant-fix SLA. A reproducible report plus the Diagnostics detail is still the strongest starting point. If it only fails sometimes, describe a good run and a bad run.
